"Today was a good day" you hear constantly from the remaining GOP supporters. It is almost like you are listening to the parent of a mis-behaving child making a comment about a day that the child didn't set fire to something. "He stayed on message today" is another comment you hear quite often, as we have seen him continuously flip and flop like a fish out of water.
Barring the next shiny object, can Trump stay on message and pound on the issues that are very apparent with Hillary being the next President? I don't think that he can, he has far more "bad days" than good ones. The fact that his supporters lament that today was a good day sparingly demonstrates just how far off the tracks he has gone.
Do we want a President that causes Americans to state "Trump had a good day today", as if we are surprised that he hasn't burned the house down, or yanked the dogs tail, or dipped his sister's pigtails in ink?
